PARIS, FRANCE

Thursday, January 11, 2018

Hi everyone!

A month ago my dad and I went to Paris! The trip was incredible to say the least and I'm so thankful I got to experience this beautiful city.

My dad and I agreed that Paris is nonstop- almost every street we turned on had a cafe or some type of gallery. There is shopping everywhere; however, we mostly went to stores that were unique to Paris! The food was delicious and the French were nice contrary to what you might hear. There's literally so much to do in this city, I would absolutely love to visit again someday!

Sitting at the base of the Eiffel Tower and looking up at the huge iron structure was the most surreal moment for me. It was definitely one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen.

With that being said, I hope you enjoy these photos and thank you for reading!

Planning our first day at the airport before takeoff.

When you walk out of a restaurant and realize that you're standing across from Laduree

The Statue of Liberty at the Musee d'Orsay.

Notre Dame

Delicious breakfast at Cafe Buci!

The Palace of Versailles, home of King Louis XIV.

When in Paris eat lots of Laduree macaroons!!

The Seine River

View from the Hotel D'Aubusson.

So close!!

The Winged Victory or Samothrace and a Sphinx from 2600 B.C at the Louvre!

The trip finished exactly how it started- at the Eiffel Tower! Except this time at the top of it.

After this selfie we continued to overlook the cityscape then took the elevator to the second floor (there are three floors total). We got off on the second floor so we could transfer to the first floor elevator, but decided the line was too long and took the 327 steps down to the first floor instead (hopefully that made sense lol). It was scary in the moment but is definitely one of my favorite memories from the trip!

Until we meet again, Paris, and until next time,
Lindi
