I've been thinking a lot about my blog name and whether or not I should change it. But after doing some research, I feel more confident about my decision to keep it...
Quick back-story: I've been dancing since I was three. A few years ago, I took a master class where we learned how to swing dance. Coincidentally, there was a step called "The Lindy Hop". The name always stuck with me (because my name is Lindi), and when I decided to start my blog, I thought it would be the perfect name.
So what is the real meaning of this dance move? According to Dancing.org, The Lindy Hop "is an unabashedly joyful dance, with a solid, flowing style that closely reflects its music." I absolutely love this. When I relate this to my life and fashion choices, I think of being bold, original and expressing myself through the clothes I wear. This is exactly what I want my blog to resemble.
With that being said, I hope y'all have a better understanding of my blog name!
